What Is RSI?

RSI or repetitive strain injury is a term which is used to describe a range of disorders which occur from prolonged, overuse of the muscles in the hands or upper part of the body. Common symptoms of RSI include swelling, pain, burning sensation, loss of dexterity, numbness and weakness.

RSI is also known as Repetitive Motion Syndrome, Occupational Overuse Syndrome and Cumulative Trauma Disorder. Some of the specific disorders which can be classed under this broad category of RSI include:
