The High Court heard that the hospital in question was negligent during his and he suffered an injury as a result.
The Trust has admitted liability and has agreed to pay compensation of almost £7m.

The initial payment will consist of an initial payment of £3.25 million, followed by continually increasing annual payments.

An NHS spokesperson has apologised to the boy, his family as well as for not providing the correct care.
