Craigshill Medical Centre Warned of Negligence Claim

Catherine Doyle aged 32 reportedly fell into a coma following severe blood clots. She is alleging that Craigshill Medical Centre were negligent in refusing to send a doctor to her home, despite repeated requests over a period of several days. She was required to have an emergency operation for removal of the clots, following which she fell in to a coma for ten days and nearly died.

Mrs Doyle claims that her condition would not have reached this stage of severity if this problem had been detected earlier. She has a history of blood clots, referred to as DVT, or deep vein thrombosis.

She is critical of the Craigshill Medical Centre, because they did not dispatch a doctor to examine her at home, as her illness could have been prevented from reaching the severe condition it did.
