Queen’s Medical Centre in Medical Negligence Case

A medical negligence claim has been lodged against the NHS by the family of a man who was left disabled 27 years previously.

The family, which is currently living in Nottingham, is launching the claim on behalf of Bilborough-born Aaron Tring, This is Nottingham revealed.

The initial incident stems from 1985 where Aaron’s brain was deprived of oxygen after his birth at the Queen’s Medical Centre.

He was left with cerebral palsy, which based on the life expectancy of the UK means that he has been left with an estimated life span of just 55 years. This is Nottingham, after an interview with his solicitor, also made clear that Mr. Tring would require constant medical care for the rest of his life, and they also reported that his reduced level of independence and lowered life expectancy entitles him to compensation.

The writ has been signed on his behalf by his family and they will fight their case against the health service for an estimated £300,000 in damages at the High Court.
